MONTANA BICYCLE GUILD

Officers

Eric Sivers

PRESIDENT

BOARD MEMBER

Eric is a founding board member of the Montana Bicycle Guild. After years of volunteering on trail maintenance evenings, he agreed it was time that Helena mountain bikers had an organized voice to advocate for access and new trails.

An Eagle Scout in his youth, community service is a deeply rooted value. Coming to the MBG focused on trail planning and advocacy, he was surprised to find grassroots enduro racing so meaningful. Eric currently serves as the MBG president and as race director of the Montana Enduro Series.

When not riding his mountain bike, he enjoys many of our outdoor recreation opportunities, including floating, hiking, Nordic and alpine skiing.

Shannon Stevens

VICE PRESIDENT

BOARD MEMBER

Shannon joined the MBG in 2016 and currently serves as vice president and as race director for the Montana Enduro Series. A former BMX rider in her younger years, she brings that same energy and balance to her work with MBG.

When she’s not advocating for trails and outdoor access, Shannon works as a psychotherapist and runs her own private practice. She’s a big believer that getting outside and moving your body boosts mental health and emotional well-being, making communities stronger for everyone.

From fundraisers and meetings to races and socials, Shannon is a familiar presence, welcoming you to join the MBG community. You’re encouraged to contact Shannon at shannon@montanabicycleguild.org.

Jeff Bradley

INTERIM TREASURER

BOARD MEMBER

Jeff has been part of Montana Bicycle Guild since 2017 and is a serial volunteer-er who loves being outdoors on the trails – particularly if he’s on a mountain bike or gets to run a chainsaw!

Jeff serves on the MBG Board and focuses on trail advocacy, development, and maintenance. He also manages MBGs partnership with the Forest Service. He is a member of the Society of American Foresters and serves on the Lewis & Clark County, Montana Search and Rescue Team.

Denny Palmer

SECRETARY

BOARD MEMBER

Denny helps make the MBG grow by injecting it with a healthy dose of legal knowledge and a fantastic bit of business savvy. Never mind his fancy, lightweight, carbon-fiber bike – his pack usually weighs about 40 pounds. Because he’s carrying gear, food, medical supplies, and camping gear for everyone. Pintler, his giant puppy, may or may not be in the bag, too.

Stacey Bradley

CFO

Stacey is a recovering road biker who discovered mountain biking shortly before joining the Montana Bicycle Guild in 2017. She quickly fell in love with the sport and wanted to contribute to clearing and developing new trails around Helena and improving the cycling community in the process.

Stacey currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer, bringing over a decade of financial knowledge to the role along with a MBA. She also helps with trail clearing and the Montana Enduro Series.

When Stacey is not volunteering, she enjoys riding with her husband, two girls, and dog or taking them all down a river.

Board of Directors

TJ Lehman

BOARD MEMBER

TJ Lehman is a founding board member of the Montana Bicycle Guild and a true force behind the fun, energy, and heart of our trail community. After serving as Treasurer for more than a decade, he continues to give back as a next-level super volunteer with the Montana Enduro Series.

TJ is known for turning the fun dial all the way up. He’s most recognizable when he rolls in with his Makita leaf blower decked out in streamers, firing up racers, spectators, and anyone within earshot. It’s equal parts hype, humor, and pure trail-community joy.

When he’s not volunteering, TJ is on the move with his wife and two daughters, busy with the enduro series, Carroll sporting events, travel basketball, and softball, with mountain bikes always on the back of the truck. The Lehman family has long loved Helena’s South Hills and Scratchgravel Hills trail systems, where TJ can often be found biking or hiking and soaking in the energy and community of the trails.

Tara Wilson

BOARD MEMBER

Tara Wilson has lived in the Helena area for over 20 years. The Archie Bray Foundation drew her here, and the community and outdoor recreation has held her.

She balances her work as a full-time potter and her love for the outdoors by serving as a volunteer ski patroller at Great Divide (2014-2019) and assistant and head coach of The Helena Cyclones (NICA team 2019-2024).

Just as pottery has taken her all over the world teaching and connecting with fellow artists, her bike serves as a catalyst introducing her to an equally amazing community of folks and incredible locations.
